“Dog Spelled Backwards”

Fifty years after landing on the moon and 30 years after the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope, do we still believe that we are alone? Is there a force greater than us? We are called to examine what constitutes spiritual “faith” — and what that term may encompass for contemporary Unitarian Universalists.

Rev. Jennifer Pader, M.Div, STM, LMSW was the Affiliate Minister at the Fourth Universalist Society in Manhattan from 2006-2018, and the part-time Guest Minister at the Mount Mansfield Unitarian Universalist Fellowship during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 church years. She is a graduate of McGill University, Union Theological Seminary, The Hunter College School of Social Work, and the William Alanson White psychoanalytic institute in Manhattan. Jennifer is from Greenwich Village (Manhattan), and relocated to Burlington with her husband William Davidson five years ago. Rev. Pader is a friend of FUUSB who has provided pastoral, pulpit and emergency coverage for some of our ministers in recent years.
