Our collection of books and resources is intended to support your UU values and to help you and your family continue your exploration. Whether you are: a Faith Development teacher, a new Unitarian Universalist, looking to go deeper into religious teachings, a parent looking for excellent picture books, or ‘simply’ a seeker of knowledge–we are the place for you!
Our youth collection – picture books, reference books, young adult books, etc. – is found in the First UU Society Library in the basement of the Meeting House.
A cart of parenting books is kept in the Community Room. Please browse what we have available anytime you are in the First UU Society building. Just follow the posted directions for checking out books and place returned books in the bag attached to the end of the cart.
The adult collection is available for browsing at any time in the Parlors. Be sure to see the great collection of books about all aspects of UU life. Just follow the posted directions for checking out books and place returned books in the bag attached to the end of the cart. There is also a Care Connection Cart with resources for helping with life’s loss and grief.
