Our congregation is now having both in-person Worship Services and Live-streamed Worship Services. All are welcome to attend our service in our Sanctuary, where we are encouraging people to mask and distance themselves for their level of comfort and safety. We ask that if you are not feeling well, please stay home and enjoy our service via the livestream. Faith Development classes are masking in the building.

Live Streaming Services for Events and Ceremonies

First UU Society first adapted to pandemic restrictions with pre-recorded services, then quickly moved to install equipment to live-stream on YouTube. Services and events can now be viewed live online, and also recorded and viewed at will from anywhere.

The system features two cameras for smooth visual transitions. The camera controller allows pan, tilt, and zoom. It also has an input for a computer, to display overlays for anthem lyrics, videos, and other information. The video feed can optionally be projected on the front wall of the sanctuary.

There are 3 ceiling-mounted mics at the front and one at the back of the sanctuary for the organ. These and the mics on the pulpit, lectern, in the piano, on a portable stand, plus two hand-held and two lapel mics connect to the soundboard/equalizer via a digital feed.

People all over the US and in other countries now view the Sunday service, so the streaming will certainly continue even though the sanctuary is open for all to attend in person. The high-quality streaming and recording capability is also available for for ceremonies, concerts, and other events.
