Outdoor Worship Service: “Let’s Gather!”

Rev. Patricia Hart & Erika Reif, with Judy Brook

For several decades, Unitarian Universalists around the country have started a new congregational year with a special service that includes a “water communion.” What a great gift in these times to gather as a multigenerational community, and to celebrate the rich, multifaceted life we make together by each pouring our little bits of water into a great big bowl. Bring water from a special place in your life, or pour from our shared pitchers.

We hope many of you will join the service. Tuning in to the livestream is always available… but we hope many of you will come to the service if you can, and stay for the potluck picnic. It’s been three years since we’ve been able to welcome one another to a new congregational year. Come gather in!

Please join us on the lawn outside the Meeting House, or online. Find the livestream link at uusociety.org or on our YouTube channel.

There will be chairs, but feel free to bring your own portable chair, or a blanket if you’d like to sit on the ground. Choose distancing that makes you comfortable and wear a mask if you prefer. If entering the Meeting House, masks are strongly encouraged indoors.

Following the service, all are welcome to the Ingathering Picnic and Outdoor Coffee Hour. And join us for Zoom Coffee Hour at 11:15 a.m. The Zoom link and more information can be found here: Online Coffee Hour
