The Fiber Arts Group (formerly the Knitting/Crocheting Group) meets via Zoom on the first Tuesday of the month from 7-8 p.m. This is a social group that welcomes all who have an interest in any activity that involves a needle or thread of any kind. This is a warm friendly group that is interested in expanding in numbers, so if you enjoy embroidery, quilting, felting, making clothing – you name it – we would love to have you join us. One of our newest members has been making small articles for pets in the colors of the Ukraine flag; she donates these to local shops and then donates the money to Ukraine shelters. We would also love to identify folks who are interested in making care shawls for our own members, as well as baby blankets or hats and booties that are given at the time of the birth or adoption of a baby/child.
