“The Ease and Joy of Fatherhood”

Jon Sallée, with Geoff Duke

Fathers often feel like their role as a parent is to make the world perfect for their children. And children often feel their fathers demand they perfectly prepare for the world and every eventuality it might bring. Fatherhood, from either end, can feel like an extended, unrelenting control. Is it possible to plan for the future without sacrificing our presence? To strive for perfection and accept what is? It must be possible to be a father, or the child of a father, who does not oblige or impose, yet emphatically, actively, and plainly hopes.

Join us for worship this Sunday – in person in the Sanctuary, or online. Find the livestream link and order of service on the Livestreamed Worship page, or go to our YouTube channel.

Following the service, all are welcome to Coffee Hour, either outside in front of the Meeting House or in the Community Room, depending on weather.

While at the Meeting House, anyone is welcome to wear a mask. In the spirit of caring for each other, please stay home if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Thank you.
