The Music Ministry Team presents internationally acclaimed guitarist Peter Griggs on Friday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at FUUSB. The concert, “Welcome the May,” includes seasonal airs, May Day carols and country dance tunes from the British Isles to celebrate the change of seasons. This diverse program, both vocal and instrumental, also includes transcriptions of Elizabethan lute music, old English ballads and Morris dance tunes played on an 11-string lute. Mr. Griggs has performed all over the world in venues from concert halls to jazz clubs and in many churches. There is a suggested donation of $15.
