A webinar for both religious professionals and lay members interested in looking at the impacts of their congregational ministries beyond the numbers.

PRESENTER: Karen Bellavance-Grace, New England Region UUA

In his book, Doing the Math of Mission, Gil Rendle argues that counting is an important part of faithful congregational accountability. We need to track our resources – financial, physical, and human resources – but this tracking and counting is not enough on its own. What are the transformational impacts of our ministries? How do we know we are making a difference? And how do we measure what can’t be measured by nickels and noses?

Join us for this webinar to explore how we can shift our orientation from accumulation (of members and money) to transformation. What new metrics would you pay attention to? What becomes possible when we broaden our focus and look for spiritual dividends? How can practices of spiritual leadership shape the way we hold ourselves accountable to our covenant, our mission, and our vision of beloved community?
