“Voting as a Spiritual Act”

Mary Beth McNaulty – Worship Leader
Geoff Duke – Worship Associate

In a time of political rancor, what place does voting have in our spiritual practice? Drawing inspiration from historical figures who fought for voting rights, we’ll consider what it means for each of us to practice our faith in democracy.

Mary Beth McNulty (she/her) is a member and worship associate at the FUUSB. She is an educator, playwright, and enthusiastic napper. Originally from rural Virginia, she now lives (and votes) with her family in Burlington.

Join us for worship at 10 a.m. in person in the Sanctuary, or online. Find the livestream link and order of service on the Live-Streamed Worship page, or go to our YouTube channel.

Following the service, all are welcome to Coffee Hour outside or in the community room depending on weather.

While at the Meeting House, anyone is welcome to wear a mask. In the spirit of caring for each other, please stay home if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Thank you.
