Algorithms and AI now quietly decide what news we see, what opinions we encounter, and what we’re encouraged to believe… but we don’t have to be passive consumers. In this service, we’ll explore how to take back control of our information diet, making more conscious and intentional choices about what we feed our minds in a world designed to keep us clicking.

Dan York (he/him) is a member of the worship associates team here at FUUSB. He grew up in the United Methodist Church, where both his father and grandfather were UMC ministers. He discovered UUism in 1990 and has since been involved with UU societies in Portsmouth, NH, Ottawa, Ontario, and Keene, NH, before returning to FUUSB. Dan works for a global nonprofit where he focuses on helping people understand Internet technology. He lives in Shelburne.
