Child Dedications are a joyful covenant between a child’s family and the congregation recognizing that the raising of a child is a community blessing. This ceremony is led by the Senior Minister and the Director of Lifespan Faith Development during a Sunday service. They can happen soon after birth or adoption; they can happen for an infant, a toddler, a preschooler, or an older child. They are for the children or grandchildren of Members. At FUUSB, typically we do joint child dedications, involving multiple families, twice each year.   If you would like to learn more about having your child dedicated at FUUSB, please contact Erika Reif, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, at [email protected].
