Coming of Age

At some point, a child transitions into an adult. Throughout history and around the world, there have been special preparations, rituals and ceremonies to accompany this period of a person’s life. Some Unitarian Universalist congregations offer opportunities for youth to participate in a year-long program called Coming of Age (CoA).
This meaningful year is filled with ways for youth to discover who they are and where they are in their spiritual journey, bond with others, and gain confidence in decision-making.
The First UU Society is offering a Coming of Age program for youth who are in 9th to 12th grades. This form is for you to indicate if and when you might be interested in participating. Please click on the link and fill it out. More details will be available in a flyer.
